The c-factory's process

To begin the process, users register themselves with a transponder, such as a student ID card, and create an individual pickup configuration. This information is stored in the cloud and retrieved through the transponder before each configuration step.

The pick-up cabin is injection moulded and then fed to the laser device via a robot arm, which writes the QR code on the cabin roof. At the milling machine the production of the chassis can be triggered and the loading area is individually 3D printed. After the individual components have been assembled together with the wheels, screws and axle brackets, a quality test is carried out with regard to dimensional deviations a nd a function test is carried out on the inclined plane.

Data is stored in the cloud during all production and test stages. This individual process information can be retrieved via the QR code both during the manufacturing process and later at the customer's site.
